Here’s the truth: most chimney sweeps in Gig Harbor charge by the hour or throw in vague ‘add-ons’ that inflate your total. We don’t do that. Our pricing is straightforward, based on the actual work needed, not the time we spend climbing your ladder or the ‘potential’ issues we might find. For example, a standard sweep in Gig Harbor starts around $120, but if we spot a cracked flue liner or a blocked cap during the inspection, we’ll tell you upfront what it’ll cost to fix it. No pressure to say yes, no pressure to pay extra. We’ve even had customers compare our quotes to competitors’ and realize they’d been overcharged by $50 or more. That’s not luck, it’s how we’ve built trust in this community for years.
Gig Harbor’s climate means your chimney works harder than most. The damp winters and salty air near the water can speed up wear and tear, while the dry summers turn creosote into a stubborn, flammable mess if you’re not careful. We’ve seen chimneys in this area go from safe to dangerous in just a few months because homeowners skipped sweeps or used fly-by-night services. Our approach is simple: inspect first, then sweep or repair exactly what needs attention. We’ll never tell you your chimney is ‘fine’ when it’s not. And because we’re local, we know the common problems in Gig Harbor homes, like rusted caps from the salt air or cracked masonry from shifting foundations, and we fix them right the first time. That saves you money in the long run, because you won’t be back next season dealing with the same issues.
